1.    Overview

The first eight months of 2024 have been marked by notable achievements for KARMA. Our dedication to enhancing records and information management practices in Kenya was demonstrated through a series of training sessions, strategic partnerships, and pivotal events. The following is a detailed overview of our activities from January to August 2024.

2.    Training Programs

KARMA conducted several trainings and workshops to address key areas in records and information management. These trainings have included topics such as records digitization, developing records management policies and procedures, data protection in records management, leadership skills for records managers, and electronic documents and records management systems. A total of 200 participants from both the public and private sectors have benefited from these sessions. The trainings focused on equipping participants with the latest digitization techniques, providing insights into data protection laws and practices to ensure they are well-versed in safeguarding sensitive information, enhancing leadership capabilities among records managers with a focus on strategic decision-making and team management, and implementing electronic documents and records management systems.

In addition, we have initiated a comprehensive review of our training content to ensure it is not only aligned with the latest industry standards but also refreshed with up-to-date
information and best practices. This effort aims to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of our training programs, enabling participants to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field of records and information management. Check out and enroll in our upcoming training sessions:
