CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Kenya Association of Records Managers and Archivists (KARMA) invites applications from its bonafide members for consideration for the KARMA Talent Development Programme (KTDP). Details of KTDP are as herein under.
OVERVIEW
The KARMA Talent Development Programme (KTDP) is designed and intended to identify and develop a team of high potential records and archives management professionals in Kenya who are energised to take the profession to the next level.
Enrolment to the KTDP is on a competitive basis. Successful applicants shall undergo a series of developmental interventions to solidify their grounding in the profession and position them for higher and more challenging opportunities and responsibilities locally and globally. The programme is modeled on best-practices on talent development globally.
COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAMME
The programme involves the following nine activities:
DURATION
The programme shall run for a period of 24 months, from date of admission. The schedule of activities shall be provided to enrolled participants during their induction.
ELIGIBILITY
Beneficiaries of the programme must be fully paid-up (bonafide) members of KARMA.
ENROLMENT
Enrolment to the programme shall be through a competitive process.
PARTICIPANT COMMITMENT
By accepting admission to the programme, participants shall be committing to be fully engaged in the activities as per provided schedule and calendar. KARMA reserves the right to withdraw participants who will not meet the requirements for completion.
FACILITATION
KARMA shall meet participants’ expenses when engaged on the programme’s activities within set parameters.
