KARMA proudly introduces the KARMA Women in Leadership & Technology (KWILT) program, known as the KARMA SheLeads Tech Initiative. This year-long program, running from June 2025 to June 2026, is designed to empower women through mentorship, training, and professional development in technology leadership. It aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 10 (Reduced Inequalities), aiming to foster gender equality and inclusivity in the technology sector.
Why KWILT?
Despite progress, women remain underrepresented in leadership and technology fields globally, including in Kenya. Challenges such as limited mentorship opportunities, societal stereotypes, and unequal access to resources hinder women’s advancement. As a professional association committed to innovation and inclusion, KARMA addresses these barriers by creating a platform tailored to women’s needs for mentorship, skill-building, and leadership development.
