Call for Proposals and Papers
We are pleased to announce the call for proposals for the upcoming KARMA ANNUAL RECORDS MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2026, on 2nd – 6th November 2026, in Mombasa, Kenya. The 2026 records management conference by the Kenya Association of Records Managers and Archivists (KARMA) will be focusing on Building Smart and Accountable Government Through AI-Driven Records and Information Management.
The conference brings together a global audience from across multiple sectors. Attendees will include leaders, delegates, and exhibitors from IT, legal, compliance, information governance, data privacy, data security, and records and archives management, who come together to discuss and share digitization solutions, technologies, and digital tools to enhance digital transformation.
The five-day event will feature stimulating keynote speeches, panel speakers, and exhibitors. Participants will connect with industry thought-leaders, solution providers, and other professionals with thought-provoking, interactive, and solution-oriented engagement events.
We invite submissions of proposals, papers, workshops, poster presentations and fireside chats, on the following sub-themes:
- AI-Enabled Records and Information Management for Public Service Delivery.
- Governance, Ethics, and Legal Frameworks for AI-Driven. Information Systems
- Data Protection, Privacy, Security, and Trust in AI-Enabled Government.
- AI, Archives, and Digital Preservation for Sustainable Public Memory.
- Capacity Building, Collaboration, and Leadership for AI-Enabled Information Governance.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
